About Me.
I am an experienced Human Services professional with over 20 years working in the field. I have extensive knowledge regarding community resources, employment services, and disability awareness and workplace wellness and burnout. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, meditation, beekeeping, gardening, snowboarding and most recently skateboarding. I am the mother of two so I understand that challenges that parents face whether they are working in or out of the home.

Capella University
Program focus was on creating new learning programs in colleges, universities, corporations, nonprofits, and governmental organizations. The curriculum focused on current industry knowledge and standards, with coursework that helps strengthen inquiry, analysis, communication, decision-making, and leadership skills to address critical, real-world problems. Doctoral dissertation focused on the needs of students with traumatic brain injuries in the online learning environment.

M.A. Rehabilitation Counseling

Program focus was on preparing students to perform vital roles for clients with mental health issues and co-occurring disabilities. Drawing on fields such as counseling, psychology, medicine, psychiatry, sociology, social work, education and law to prepare skilled, knowledgeable and committed rehabilitation counseling professionals.
